"Dance No.2"
This screen print of a series of 3 has been inspired by different emotions the artist Araiké Da Silva has felt while listening to electronic music in Berlin. A crowd is dancing in the night, glowing in the darkness. The vibrant colors reflect the energy of the dancers and emphasizes the different layers of the music. Araiké has worked with Ink on paper first. After scanning the work, he has created 2 screen prints of 2 different graphics which have been overlapped during the printing process.

Araiké Da Silva is an Italian-Brazilian painter, photographer and sculptor based in Berlin. He won the first prize in the Illustration competition "Draw Not War" and won the national competition "Photographing the Divine Comedy". His collaborations include both the world of fashion and the world of Street Art. At the moment, he is studying at the Kunsthochschule Weißensee in Berlin and keeps on developing his artistic career.
