Cyanotype is a photographic technique from the 19th century that allows you to obtain very interesting visual pieces.

During the Cyanotype Workshop on island Illa de Arousa, Galicia, Spain, with artist and illustrator Andrea, you play with organic elements and object reserves to compose your own postcards and learn to create a story with simple elements.

You learn the entire photographic process and take home the recipe to continue experimenting.

About the artist: 

My name is Andrea and I work as an illustrator. In 2012, I decided to give myself a chance and do what I liked: Tell stories.

So I turned my grandparents' fishing tackle storage room into "La Platanera", a space to create and help people who come to rediscover their creativity.

In a place as special as this island where I grew up: A Illa de Arousa.

About the location: Andrea's home and art studio is located on the beautiful island "Illa de Arousa", in the Rías Baixas of Galicia. A small haven to create and disconnect.
