Creative Watercolor Workshop with Alma in Valencia, Spain

Join Alma for her Creative Watercolor Workshop at her studio, Espacio Aire, in Valencia, Spain! A workshop designed for both beginners and advanced participants where we will learn about the watercolour basic techniques through a creative, experimental and practical approach starting from the representation of the landscape.

The workshop is divided into: 

_Theory, with a brief introduction about wet on wet, wet on dry, underpainting, wet wash, dry brush, colour saturation, opacity and transparency. Then, we will do a quick exercise to practice these basic theory concepts. 

_ Practice. Let your imagination fly. We will paint in A4/A5 formats and we will inspired by nature and the beauty of the landscapes. You can bring your own images or use the ones we provide. 

_ A PDF with the theory will be sent so that you can continue your practice at home. 

_ We will use Van Gogh Watercolours in tablet + 250 / 300 gr paper. 

No previous experience is required, Alma will guide you with personalized treatment so you can learn, enjoy and enhance your creativity in a relaxed environment.

About the artist:

Alma is a textile artist and cultural manager from Valencia. She has lived in Rome, Venice, London and Seville. Two years ago, after working for different art galleries, she returned to her home city, Valencia, to set up her studio: Espacio Aire, a painting school + cultural space. 

Her artistic work ranges from drawing, painting, and automatic writing to hand embroidery.
