During artist Anastasia Sawall's Painting Workshop "Mixed Media Collage Art" at her home and studio in Flensburg, Germany, you learn a simple and uncomplicated access to art. In three steps Anastasia leads you to your own little art series.

With this art workshop, Anastasia would like to show you an approach that allows you to make art in your everyday life - to create works of art for your home or also just to switch off.

A large part of the course allows you to just try it out. All art supplies that Anastasia has, are available to you. These include brushes, acrylic paints, painting knives, Spatula, gel media, oil and pastel chalk, various pens, surfaces, sponges and fabrics.

In a relaxed atmosphere, you can look over the artist's shoulder while you work on your own artwork. You can also use the time to ask Anastasia any question that you always wanted to ask an artist.

The little art escape is meant to be enjoyed! You end up going home with two original artworks created by yourself!

About the artist:
Anastasia Sawall's pieces of art are meant to inspire other people to embrace the unpredictable and transform it into something good. For Anastasia, art is the part of her life that she loves above all for its unpredictability.

"In life you have to stick to so many rules, make plans and follow guidelines. So I'm happy to be able to stand in front of a white canvas and just let it happen."

Her abstract works of art "are created out of curiosity for beautiful coincidences with a pinch of naivety."

The visual artist came to art more by accident. In a conversation with another artist, she found out that he started his career as an autodidact and is not a full-time artist at all. That's when she realized that you can also take this path into art.
