Drawing and Linocut Printing Workshop "Everyone can draw (Postcards)!" with Eva in Hamburg, Germany
Drawing and Linocut Printing Workshop "Everyone can draw (Postcards)!" with Eva in Hamburg, Germany
Eva invites you to her Drawing and Linocut Printing Workshop "Everyone can draw (Postcards)!" at her studio in Hamburg, Germany!
The Drawing and Linocut Printing Workshops are an invitation to a relaxed draw-together, in which artist Eva Dietrich talks about her work as an illustrator, shows her illustrations and then takes your fear of drawing through exercises.
In the workshop, you learn to approach a blank sheet of paper and to let your thoughts run free with ink drawings.
In the second part, you create a postcard motif and transfer it to a rubber stamp plate.
You can then print your own postcards using the lino printing process and then take them home with you or exchange them with other people from the workshop.
About the artist:
Eva Dietrich is a creative director, illustrator and curator living and working in Hamburg, Germany. When Eva is not working for the creative industry, she’s drawing.
Her illustrations are snapshots of everyday situations. She deals with topics like identity crisis, depression and social injustice. The gender-fluid figures in her art address friendship, anti-normative relationships and everyday struggles – avoiding stereotypes and expectations.
In 2021, Eva opened the doors of her first shop for illustration in Hamburg-Altona. There, she exhibits her own work as well as a curated selection of printed goods by different artists – mostly female or non-binary.All You Need To Know for the Drawing and Linocut Printing Workshop with Eva in Hamburg, Germany:
