Colorful Abstract Art Workshop with Julia in Bayreuth, Germany

During artist Julia's 2-3 hour "Colorful Abstract Art Workshop", you have the opportunity to create your own large-format acrylic painting on canvas.

You build your wooden frame together with Julia's help, pull on the cotton fabric, apply a light primer and then start with the abstract work.

In order to really immerse yourself in abstract art, the head must be empty. You will get some impulses from the artist that will encourage you not to think about your performance and the good and bad - of the reviews and just do it - without expectation and without self-doubt. 

"Believe me, the best moment is - when things are going really crappy - then I create art", says Julia and invites you to do the same. 

About the artist:

In search of self-expression and self-discovery, artist Julia Wiesmann began to paint. Since the end of 2021, she has been creating abstract works as an autodidact. Julia creates art that encourages debate and questioning. Which is alive and at the same time expresses deep stillness.

Julia ist currently working with raw cotton canvas because she wants to keep the natural weave visible. Layer by layer, she creates fine structures and new color nuances to create chaos and order.

She sets further color accents and depths with oil pastels. Her art is often influenced by inner silence and loud music. Julia really enjoys this mix.
