Would you like to take a spin on the pottery wheel?

During Andrea's Ceramic Workshop at her studio in Bilzen, Belgium, you learn the basic techniques to make your first pots on the potter's wheel. Under her guidance you go step by step through the process of making your first pots.

Andrea chooses to work one-on-one or in a small group of three participants so there is enough room for personal tuition. This way, there is enough attention to adjust the technique and you can soon see progress on the wheel.

At the end of the Ceramic Workshop in Bilzen, Belgium, you choose your favorite pot that Andrea will finish, bake and glaze for you.

You can't choose between those first precious pots? For each extra pot, there's an additional charge of € 5.
After 4 to 6 weeks you can pick up your finished pot. Shipping is also possible for an additional fee - just ask Andrea.

This Ceramic Workshop is for all levels because of the personal approach, starting from 10 years old.

All materials are included, as are snacks and drinks.

About the artist:

Andrea Frieling Ceramics is a ceramics studio based in Bilzen, Belgium.

Andrea has a background in illustration and printmaking and developed a love for ceramics by playing with color and shape.

This love started in 2019 and grew from a hobby into her own ceramics studio. Here, she finds pleasure in searching for the interaction between bright colors and clean, minimalistic shapes in functional ceramics.

Length of workshop: 2.5 hours

Number of people: 1 - 3 people

Location: At the artist’s studio in Lethenstraat, 3740 Bilzen, Belgium.
The studio is located in the charming bed & breakfast Boerderaaj, where you can also stay and sleep (not included in the workshop price).

Price per person: € 104; if you book three spots together it is € 94 per person (€ 282 in total); includes all materials, coffee, tea, water, biscuits, and fruit.
