During ceramic artist Julia San Millan's Brunch and Ceramics Workshop at her studio in Lisbon you learn the pinch pot technique, which is very useful for making small medium pieces.

After finishing the shapes of your ceramic pieces using the  pinch pot technique, you continue to paint and decorate them while having a homemade Mediterranean brunch.

Please note: Your pieces will be ready for pick-up 2 weeks after your Ceramic Workshop. In case you live abroad, you can get them shipped to your home by Julia for an additional cost. Please talk to her directly during the workshop.

About the artist:

Julia San Millan is a Spanish artist based in Lisbon, Portugal. Before moving to her new home country, Julia's career was focused on painting and illustration. Once settled in Lisbon, she fell in love with the Portuguese ceramic tradition.

Ever since, she has been combining ceramics and illustration. For the artist, ceramics is about aesthetics and telling a story with every piece.

She opened her own ceramic studio in Lisbon two years ago, where she has been working and teaching ceramics in a creative way until today.

Best of times!

We had such a lovely time at the ceramics workshop. No one in our group (of 7 ladies) had experience with ceramics but Julia was a patient teacher. We were taught the basics but she was happy to step in every time we got stuck. The hours flew by and we all made something beautiful (in our eyes anyways). Studio is light and welcoming and the brunch light but plentiful. Thanks for a lovely and memorable time !
