Let’s start with Lisbon
Portugal’s capital Lisbon offers a wealth of photography opportunities, from the charming alleyways of the historic Alfama district to the stunning views of the Tagus River. As a passionate photographer, make sure to visit the famous Miradouro de Santa Luzia and the Belém Tower. They offer panoramic views of the city and its landmarks. In case you are looking for a more secluded spot, head out of the city to the stunning cliffs and beaches of the Serra da Arrábida Natural Park.

The Algarve
The Algarve region in the southern part of Portugal is known for its rough coastlines, dramatic cliffs, and beautiful beaches. Here, photographers can take incredible shots of the crashing waves and rocky cliffs at places like Praia do Tonel and Praia da Rocha. For a more peaceful scene, head to the quiet lagoon at Ria Formosa Natural Park, where you can photograph exotic birds and other wildlife.
Porto
The city of Porto is renowned for its impressive, Harry Potter-like architecture, including the famous Dom Luís I Bridge and the charming Ribeira district. Photographers will also like the historic São Bento train station, which features the traditional Portuguese tile work under stunning lighting. Discovering the Masters: 4 Well-Known Photographers from Portugal
Portugal has brought to life many talented photographers over the years, each with their unique styles and perspectives.
