Durante el taller de tejido textil de Rita en Lisboa, Portugal, aprenderá a configurar el telar y aprenderá los conceptos básicos del tejido.
El Taller de Tejido Textil se lleva a cabo en el estudio de Rita en el tercer piso, en Odivelas, Lisboa. El estudio de Rita está dentro de su apartamento.
El apartamento está a 10 minutos a pie del metro, a 2 minutos a pie del autobús directo al centro de la ciudad. A 5 minutos andando de las tiendas. A 10 minutos caminando del mercado local Silvado, todos los lunes.
El departamento de Rita está ubicado en el 3er piso sin ascensor. No tiene animales en casa.
Su taller puede realizarse en inglés, francés y español.
Sobre la artista:
Rita es una diseñadora textil y de moda portuguesa afincada en Lisboa. Las ciudades y los paisajes de todo el mundo son la inspiración del artista textil. Teje recuerdos de la vida urbana, montañas verdes y escarpadas y costas soleadas en patrones que reflejan la creatividad humana y la belleza de nuestro planeta.
Rita aprendió a tejer en la escuela secundaria António Arroio de Lisboa, cuando tenía 15 años. Se especializó en tejido y estudió en detalle la estructura de los textiles. Después de terminar la escuela, quiso ampliar sus conocimientos y continuar sus estudios.
Decidió realizar el Curso de Diseño de Moda en el IADE, también en Lisboa. Una vez matriculada, descubrió su segunda pasión, la fotografía, que la llevó a mezclar la moda, el textil y la fotografía.
Luego, en 2015, el "Año de la Luz", Rita decidió crear su propia marca textil llamada "Cross Lights". Rita eligió este camino basándose en lo bien que le hace sentir tejer y la diversión que tiene durante todo el proceso de realizar una pieza, investigar, crear el diseño y tejer.
La artista ha descubierto por sí misma que tejer es la mejor manera de expresarse, debido a las infinitas posibilidades de este oficio.

Precio del taller (4 horas):
- 1 persona: 156 € (39 €/h)
- 2 personas: 5 % de descuento por persona
- 3 personas: 10 % de descuento por persona
- 4 personas: 15 % de descuento por persona
El precio del taller incluye todos los materiales, agua y té. Cada participante se llevará a casa un tapiz tejido a mano, una pieza única de texturas y colores que refleja la experiencia creativa de la jornada.
En los talleres de varios días, los participantes pueden explorar una gama más amplia de técnicas de tejido y crear proyectos más ambiciosos junto con la artesana.

- En el estudio de Rita, situado en Odivelas, Lisboa, Portugal. La ubicación exacta se facilitará tras la reserva, o
- En tu domicilio, en la zona de Lisboa o en la zona de Caldas da Rainha.
(Se aplicará un suplemento por desplazamiento en función de la distancia:
- Zona de Lisboa: a partir de 25 €
- Área metropolitana de Lisboa / Caldas da Rainha: a partir de 40 €
Nota: Durante el verano (desde finales de mayo hasta finales de octubre), el estudio puede cerrar en períodos de calor extremo, ya que no resulta sostenible ni cómodo impartir clases en esas condiciones. Por lo tanto, los talleres de verano solo se pueden confirmar con una semana de antelación. Gracias por tu comprensión.

From the very first phone call, Rita took the time to understand my skill level and what I hoped to get out of the workshop, that thoughtfulness set the tone for everything that followed. Her studio was easy to reach by train, and she greeted me with the warmest smile and welcomed me right in.
Since I have a frame loom of my own, I was especially interested in learning to set up and weave on different looms, and Rita generously let me work across three of hers, all already prepped, patiently walking me through the dynamics of each. By the end of our time together I had created my own small woven piece, and it gave me such a clear sense that this is exactly where my creative path is headed.
Beyond the technical skills, what made the day so special was just connecting, music, laughter, shared stories, and a mutual love for fiber arts. Rita is generous, knowledgeable, and deeply passionate about weaving, and I left not only with new skills but with a new friend in the craft. I can't recommend her workshop enough, and I hope to stay connected with her for years to come.
This was an awesome experience. I have never done anything on a loom before but Rita made it easy to understand and fun. She is just so knowledgeable about different looms, how to do different patterns, mixing colors and textures and she is very patient! It was such a relaxing atmosphere and the time just flew by. I can’t say enough positive things about Rita and this class - highly recommend it!
Rita is an absolute pleasure and wealth of knowledge. I appreciate that we had a meeting before I even arrived in Lisbon to talk about what I would like to work on. She prepared all sorts of examples and materials for me to experiment with, knowing that I have a bigger project this will inform later. The piece that I made was to try new techniques and materials and see how they behave and inform each other. I'm very excited to take the new skills and ideas back home. Her space is inspiring and cozy and she has so many materials and ideas for you to work with. I would definitely take a workshop with her again!
Rita's weaving workshop was a wonderful and enriching experience! Over the course of three hours, I worked on a tabletop loom and got hands-on experience with a variety of high-quality materials, all readily available to use. Rita is a skilled and patient instructor who shares her extensive knowledge of weaving techniques while guiding each step clearly and practically. Her home studio is cozy and inspiring, creating the perfect creative setting. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone who enjoys working with textures and colors—an engaging and rewarding experience!
Rita is a great and super inspiring teacher. She’s very patient and kind and I highly recommend her for anyone looking to explore weaving as a new hobby which was the case for me 😊 subcultours were also very helpful and responsive and I wouldn’t have met Rita without them!
