About the Pastry Chef:

Pastel de Nata Pastry Chef Patricia, an almost 50 year old, very creative lady and still very young inside, has already done many things in her professional career. Before her pastry career, she has been working as a wedding planner and an events manager, dealing with weddings, corporate events and music festivals.

Patricia used to work for other people, for many hours, especially during the weekends and had less time to be with her family and friends. Even though she loved her job, meeting always new people, she decided that it was time to change and to quit her job.

She has always loved cooking and used to receive her friends at home, but she had never thought of becoming a Pastry Chef.

She learned the recipe, tried a few times different recipes and decided to start this new life in the pastry world.

Since the early beginnings it has been such a wonderful time for Patricia, meeting many different people from all over the world and the feedback has been very positive so far.

Great experience with a lot of fun!

We had the pleasure of joining Patrícia's cooking class, and it was a great experience. Patrícia skillfully broke down the process of making pastel de nata into manageable steps, making it accessible even for those without prior cooking experience. Alongside the cooking, Patrícia regaled us with the history behind pastel de nata and shared fascinating insights into Portuguese cuisine, all within a wonderfully warm and jovial atmosphere complemented by Patrícia's jokes and a glass of Port wine. To top it off, we couldn't resist taking some pastel de nata home to prolong the pleasure. We highly recommend Patrícia's cooking class to any tourist eager to master the art of crafting Porto's most delectable dessert.
