Frutie’s Linocut Workshop in Budapest, Hungary

Frutie is welcoming you to the Linocut Workshop at Planet Fossil in Budapest! 
We are excited to have you join us for a creative afternoon where you can make some art and new friends as well. 

For this workshop you don't need any experience with printmaking or drawing. It's all about slowing down, connecting with your creativity and the enjoyment of creating something new.

By the end of the session, you'll walk away with your own hand-carved block and a series of unique prints to keep or share. 

We'll provide all the materials and guide you step-by-step through the process in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. 

Step 1: Draw
Bring your own ideas, or ask for our advice. We'll help you make a great design! You don't need drawing experience to make a cool print.

Step 2: Carve
Turn your design into a printing block with the help of carving knives.
We'll teach you how to carve the linoleum to match your design.

Step 3: Print
Use rollers to cover your block with printing ink and transfer the design to paper. After the workshop, you'll have your finished prints and your block to print more any time you want!

About the artists:

Frutie Workshop is a collective of three friends, Paige, Som and Noj. 
We teach workshops on different art techniques including printmaking, painting and more! 
Together we speak English, Hungarian, Korean and Spanish.
