In this inspiring ceramic workshop with artist Petra, you'll design and create your own handmade tableware that reflects your personal style - whether it's a breakfast bowl, serving plate, mug, or your next favorite ceramic piece.

Hosted in the garden of a beautifully restored 17th-century house in Stadtschlaining, Austria, this pottery experience combines creativity, craftsmanship, and relaxation in a truly unique setting. Working with high-quality stoneware clay, you'll learn professional ceramic techniques while experimenting freely with shapes, textures, and surface finishes. If you'd like, you'll also have the opportunity to try the pottery wheel and discover the magic of wheel throwing.

No previous experience is required. Petra creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere where beginners and experienced makers alike feel comfortable exploring their creativity. Throughout the workshop, she'll guide you step by step while encouraging you to develop your own ideas and artistic style.

After the workshop, Petra will professionally glaze and high-fire your ceramic creations using a beautiful selection of food-safe, dishwasher-safe glazes. Your finished pieces can either be collected approximately three weeks later or shipped worldwide for an additional fee.

If you're looking for a truly authentic creative getaway, combine your workshop with an evening at a traditional Buschenschank among the vineyards, or stay overnight in the historic building next to Petra's studio for a slow and inspiring creative retreat.

She believes ceramics is about much more than technique - it's about slowing down, trusting your intuition, and creating objects that become part of everyday life.
