Während Franciscos Porto Tiles and Tea Workshops habt Ihr die Möglichkeit, zunächst einige der traditionellen Fliesenmal-Techniken zu erlernen und dann eure eigenen zwei Fliesen zu bemalen und einige der originalen Portugiesischen Motive zu integrieren.

Außerdem erfahrt Ihr mehr über die Geschichte der Portugiesischen Fliesen.

Die Fliesen müssen nach jeder Sitzung gebrannt werden und sind 24 Stunden nach dem Workshop abholbereit. Bitte berücksichtigt dies bei euren weiteren Reiseplänen!

Über den Künstler:

Francisco Pessegueiro ist ein Fliesenkünstler aus Porto und Mitbegründer von Frágil Studio mit Sitz in Porto. Er hat in Keramikstudios in ganz Portugal gelernt und gearbeitet.

Als er nach Porto zurückkehrte, konzentrierte er sich auf Workshops für "Azulejos" (= Fliesen auf deutsch) und Keramik und lädt seitdem Menschen jeden Alters ein.

Seine Absicht ist es, Handwerk und Know-how zu verbreiten, bevor es verloren geht.

Great experience

We had a fantastic experience with Francisco. It was a very informative workshop and he provided us all the skills and knowledge we needed to create beautiful traditional tiles. The tea he served was delicious too. We are so happy with our tiles.

Exceptional!

We had a great time learning about the history of tile making and how to obtain the best shape vary the color saturation. Having a small group made for a positive ambiance, and we appreciated the recommendations (and patience!) of the instructor.

We had an amazing time with Francesco at his workshop, his explanations were really detailed and interesting. Then, the activity was relaxing and fulfilling. The finish handmade piece of work is highly satisfying! We really recommend doing this activity if you have the opportunity, and Francisco is really nice !

Fun Tiles and Tea workshop

The class was fun and very educational! Francisco was very nice and helpful. The served tea was a great additional touch. You don't need to be artsy in order to attend as the steps are very well explained. Would love to come back once I visit Porto again.

A Great Experience!

Our group loved this class! Francisco did a great job teaching the class about the history of tile making, and telling us about his family's connection to tile making in Porto. We enjoyed painting our own tiles and were able to purchase some ceramic pieces from other artists in the studio. From start to finish, everything was well thought out. This was a very unique experience and would definitely recommend this to others!
